MS13 is South American cartel. They are everywhere in Baltimore. Spoke to a port authority official about it, he was recruited to spy on his distant relatives at the port. He is as happy to arrest them once he took a tour of Baltimore and seen what the drugs were doing to people.

I’m going to have to kick on the old OWL feed grabber and start 0bserving again so I can dump 200 topics a week into the chat… I remember when direct2s0 started (5th, I plead) =p
Look at the bright side Ben, my research skills are far superior to 2013-14…..

2011 was not our best year, neither was 12, 13 was a good mine. Pun.
I miss the times when Ben covered all topics not just quakes.

‘Scenario Planning’…good one; gotcha. I guess my repulsion toward it has to do with the fact that I’ve never been a planner. I just live in the moment. I ‘HAARP’ my questions, desires, and intentions to the Universe, and then go on living in the moment while the Universe works out the details for me. It’s never failed me! Sometimes I think it’s quite arrogant for people to think they know better than the Universe/Prime Source just how things should be worked out. This is my mantra: Prime Source sees/hears our desires, and the Universe conspires to make it happen. Very good FOTW, guys! Enjoy your weekend! ?

    On topic….
Marine article – Our surrounds are certainly cyclic, it would also seem obvious to include pollutants in any study.
Stem Cells – I don’t see a viable way to ‘produce’ human fetus for this as study or treatment. If an alternative to abortion presents itself, I will pay attention.
Pluto cooling, begs me to ask: Are all planets in our solar system cooling (for similar reason?)?
    Dark Matter…. RIP.

MS13, extremely dangerous because of its multinational (if not global) nature. Born from strife and common cause, this particular element will need eliminated, the propensity for corruption is extreme and likely being used presently by controlling factions.

Saudi Arrests, I can only hope that the entire scope of this is exposed. It’s possible that the Saudi, U.S. link has more to it than positioning and posture. If it turns out that the reigns of power are held fast with barbs of degenerate morality… Complete exposure please.

You mentioned a few names, asking what the reference is would be my nature. I suspect trolling would be the offense, for that I’ll just have to watch and see.

Oblique interjections of ideas, into a disciplined direction, are the where/when huge expansions of knowledge can be discovered.

Language… No discussion of semantics needed. As the great George Carlin once said: “You can’t fool me, shoot is shit with two O’s”. I was brought-up with the idea that using words at something, was the infraction. You can call someone a Blackbird and be meaner than calling someone a much more colorful name. The pattern of speech you use, will garner others perception of your intelligence. It’s about presentation, as well as perception. It reminds me of a scene from The Big Lebowski, when the Stranger asks the Dude… “Do you have to curse so much?”, and the Dude replied “What the fuck are you talking about?”… If words were threads, and language the fabric, we should strive for the best cut and finest needle-work we are capable of, along with trying to wear the suit well.

Owls vs Coyotes, both have their use, similar in the rodent reduction aspect. While owls can carry away small dogs… coyotes can carry away small children. My $.02.

Flashback: A couple weeks ago, on FOTW, you spoke of survival and wood gathering… FYI, IMHO: A well insulated relatively large home, in cold climate, will use somewhere between 6-10 cords of wood per season. The variance mostly from insulation and area. There are ways to greatly reduce the need for heat (faceing/placement, glass, etc., but generally to heat exclusively with wood you’ll have to put a lot of effort into gathering. These are some of the most forgotten tools needed, things like: felling axes, misery whips (cross-cut saws), files, and the knowledge to sharpen and tune these tools.

I’ll try and attend the next FOTW cast and chat, I have a question that Billy can likely answer in one breath.
Until then, take care, and thanks again for all you do.

There are alternatives to fetal stem cells, but they are few and not as effective. Even so, I do not support using fetal stem cells for ANYTHING, unless the fetus (BABY) does of NATURAL causes.

    Absolute Zero is 0 Kelvin(-273.15 Celsius, -459.67 Fahrenheit )
Space is about 2.7 Kelvin (-270.45 Celsius, -454.81 Fahrenheit)
Pluto’s atmosphere is 70 Kelvin (-203 Celsius, 333.4 Fahrenheit) 3.67 billion miles from Sun (5.90 billion km)
Temperatures on the moon ;daytime, 373.15 Kelvin (100 Celsius, 212 Fahrenheit) 93,205 million miles from Sun (150 million km)
    ;nighttime,100.15 Kelvin (-173 Celsius, -279.4 Fahrenheit)
    Conclusion:
If you look at how cold the dark side of the moon is, while being so close to the Sun
compared to how warm Pluto is being, so far from the Sun; The atmosphere is retaining heat from Sun, may be a internal heat source. Solidified gases probably make up the surface of Pluto which moves to form features when heated by retained heat from a insulative atmosphere in conjunction with internal heating not excluding induced heat from electromagnetic from Sun and other distant sources.

BTW, the Coral reefs were dying long before sunscreen was ever invented and brought to market, fyi to whippersnappers who have no real idea on how fast this place dying off and pollution is coming on.

Biohackers are using CRISPR on their DNA and we can’t stop it
People are starting to alter their own DNA with cheap, easy gene-editing technology. Is it time to regulate CRISPR?

They can now take stem cells from your own body and inject them where they they are needed in your body. That way nothing foreign is getting put into your body. This is proving very effective for people with knee and other joint problems. More commonly done than you think. I have plasma shots in my knees about every 6 months. This is spun out of my own blood. Look up Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy. This is working well for me now, but I can elect to have the stem cell therapy done if I want it. It’s about 10 times more expensive than the Plasma therapy but they offer it. I haven’t researched it very much but I believe they told me it comes from the fat cells not the blood so the procedure is a little more difficult to go through.
